A Note From The Pastor

In our short 10 year history, Pillar Community Church has gathered for worship in personal homes, a movie theatre, a local elementary school cafeteria, and presently a gymnasium at a local church. This semi-nomadic existence and lack of permanent physical space has presented challenges in ministering to the congregation as a well as reaching the community of Vero Beach.

We believe that God’s people, perhaps now more than ever, need a dedicated set-apart, sacred space for worship, formation and discipleship, fellowship, and outreach. A sacred space where we can experience union with God and one another in a way that we simply don’t experience apart from corporate gatherings and family feasts. This will be a set-apart space where all ages, from our youngest to most elderly, can come to rest their weary soul so that they might go forth into the world as a renewed child of the King, empowered to share his light and love amidst a lost and longing world.

We believe it’s time for Pillar to be rooted in Vero Beach by developing a two-building campus that will help us enjoy the “with-God” life more fully so that we might share it with others more freely. We invite you, as a vital part of the congregation of Pillar Community Church, to join in this journey to follow the invitation of our Lord to be rooted in this time and space – to Build His Sacred Space.
